Hey everyone,
before I head off to the wide world, here's a little app I made for my travels.
Android 4.2 has that already, but I miss it a lot on my Samsung S2: Browsing your location-tagged photos on a world-map
There are already apps for that purpose, but they do not group markers for better overview and don't cache data, so need a long time for startup.
What I wanted was an easy to use and fast app to just browse the world and discover photos of amazing moments I had long forgotten.
Also you can search for places and instantly go there.
Important for this to work: You need to turn on the GPS-tag in your camera settings, so the location is stored within the photo.
Only photos taken after this setting will show up in the app!
Here the link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.twofingersapps.photomapper
New, cool features will be added in the future, so stay tuned ;)
Have fun with it!
