I have a Samsung SGH-I997 Infuse 4G and I tried to download a unofficial update which resulted in my phone giving me an error screen that says "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again." When I downloaded Kies it did not recognize my phone. I think I might have permanently messed up my phone and really need some help.
