Hey everyone I'm just wondering what is the app that you use the most? I really love my Droid and I want to use it to the best of its ability.

I use the navigation app on my htc hero. It is a Sprint app specifically for android phones through Sprint. I also have the google navigation but the sprint app is better i think. Any way, if you have 2.1 you should have google navigation and it works just like a gps navigator.

I use QuickDic the most, as I am in a German class for 4 hours everyday, and it makes for a good German-English Dictionary (other languages available.)

My most used non-school app would probably be a tie between AndroidPIT,, Advanced Task Killer, and APNdroid (since I don't have a data plan.)

Yes there is a lot more then the zoom feature... it has all kinds of special FX features like black and white, Polaroid style, mirror image, color tints, make pictures look old-fashioned, image stabilization (which is my favorite feature), timer photo taking as well as the ability to take photo by clapping hands together, on screen shutter button so you don't have to use trackball button on phones like Eris and Hero, plus all those basic camera functions like white balance, auto focus etc.. plus many other features and tons of setting options.

I really like Subsonic; you install a server on your desktop computer which allows you to stream your entire collection directly to your phone. It really shines with a host of nice features: automatic on-the-fly downsampling of songs depending on wifi/3g connectivity, automatic realtime conversion of songs into appropriate formats, ability to pre-download songs etc etc. Only downside is the somewhat limited search functionality, which doesn't offer the fine-grained control I'd like (a big collection almost necessitates a powerful and versatile search function, but at least the manual browsing is smooth enough).

Along the same lines, the Last.Fm app is really nice when coupled with a subscription over at - unfortunately, they only stream music to certain countries (which is weird, considering that streaming to the computer is fine). There are ways around it though, if f you happen to live in a country fortunate enough to allow streaming to your computer, but still unfortunate enough to regard your linux-powered phone as an entity completely different from your computer.
