Google Translate: offline voice translation, Android 8+, Anyone got this working?

As we know, Google translate used to do offline voice translation. This has helped me out many times in places with no internet access.

But it seems that the latest edition v6.17 has removed this feature. Is it true?

Has anybody managed to figure out how to get Google Translate to work offline for voice/conversion translations with Android 8 or 9? :(

If you want any specific version then it will be better to uninstall the update or download and install previous version APK.
