Motorola Moto X — Phone damaged need my information

I dropped my phone in a certain way on a cement floor and despite my case it cracked the screen and couldn't access anything. I purchased a new screen and installed and I could not get it to turn on. I tried multiple times. I finally purchased another phone. I do have lots of contacts and info left on the damaged phone that I would like to transfer. Is there anyway to get this info without the phone being operational?

Hi, I'm not sure if it works for you. Because it's difficult to recover data from a damaged device. But you still have an option,which is to use broken Android data recovery program. This tool can access your deivce without USB debugging on and extract data from internal storage.
