After replacing the battery and charge port now my Galaxy S6 edge does not quick charge and takes as much as 5 hours to charge from 20% and doesnt tether to my laptop, could this be the wrong battery or charge port or both.
My son is an IT guy and he said to get a new phone but i love this phone and I fell intimately attached after being inside of it.

It could be both. Only a good repair shop can tell you what it is and fix the problem

Where did you replace the battery and charge port? A Samsung customer service center? You should go back for help.

i replaced it myself along with the second battery that swelled the first just lost power and wouldn't charge and yes the phone is about 4 years old so yeah I am attached to it.
