I want to transfer some music from my CDs, via my laptopl, onto my micro SD card to be able to play the music on my phone. I made a new folder on the card to add music to and just tried copying and pasting. It showed the track I was trying initially but I couldn't get it to play on my phone. I'd appreciate any advice. Thank you.

I think the CD tracks must be copyright protected.

Download size < 0.15 MB. But also accurate enough, ad-free & free.

If you can copy your music from your CDs to computer, you can import them to your micro sd card or your phone directly with the help of Android data manager tool. Such tool can help you import music files to your phone easily via usb cable connecting. Then you can play them on your phone directly.

Can you try transferring your mp3 files to your PC's storage first then proceed on transferring it to your phone?

Please do the following steps,
1. Insert the SD card into the port.
2. Locate the folder where you ripped the CD.
3. Click and drag the mouse over the songs that you want to transfer.
4. Right-click on one song and select 'Copy. '
5. Locate your SD card folder.
6. Right-click and select 'Paste.

You may burn the CD for this, so a editable memory may shown there..
