I have 90% of my WhatsApp conversations backed-up on my old Sony Android phone and 10% (more recent conversations) backed-up on my new Sony Android phone. Same WhatsApp account, same mobile number, even the same SIM card.
Is it possible to merge / bring the old 90% across from my old phone, without losing anything newly composed on my new phone?
Old: Xperia XZ1
New: Xperia Z5
From my old phone: Internal \ WhatsApp \ (Backups, Databases & Media) folders copied across to my PC desktop (4gb of data), hopefully, ready to merge.
