Hello there.
I am new to Xiaomi Mi A3 and Android One.
I was listening to music with Pi Music player app. In my previous phone there was an icon of this app in the notification bar when it was playing, so I could easily operate it. Why is there nothing in the notification bar with Xiaomi Mi A3? I have to find the apps icon on the screen, click on it and then manage it.
It's just one example. I would like to see the processes like download status when updating apps in the bar as well.

Please help, thanks

You may press the Menu button to switch to recent used APPs, then select your music player app.

Download size < 0.15 MB. But also accurate enough, ad-free & free.

Hello there. Thank you for your advice, but that is exactly what I do not want. I want a shortcut to the working app through the notification bar. It is much faster. Clicking on the Menu button is the same like clicking on the app itself. I simply want the running app like the player to appear on the top of the screen. Any suggestions for that? I cannot believe there is not a simple solution to this.

Go to your device's Settings,
Apps & notifications - Notifications management,
Select your music player app,
Make sure to enable the 'Allow notifications' and 'Display in the status bar'.

Download size < 0.15 MB. But also accurate enough, ad-free & free.

I just bought a Xiaomi Mi A3 and i am somewhat familiar with Android One since my last phone was a Nokia 6.1 plus.
I couldn't find the notification management anywhere including in the Apps and Notification menu.
The existing shortcuts/icons in the notification bar are not many and I would likeyour help to add screenshot to the notification bar. Thank you very much for your kind help
