I am using a Galaxy Note 8. If I click on photos I can see my photos. Wnen I connect to PC I cant find them on SD card or phone. Where are they?

Find ,on the phone, the folder where your phone stores the photos with a file explorer

Yes rthats what you would expect but they're not there. I tap photos on the phone photos are there. I go into phone on PC and no photos where they are usually stored.

Check Internal Storage > DCIM > Camera folders. This will solve the issue.

If you can't access to the photos on SD card or phone, you may need to try a third-party program. Usually, Android data manager tool can help us scan out all photos on SD card or phone and allows us to transfer them to computer easily. Not only photos, data like app, contacts, sms, music, videos, books, call logs can be also managed.

Make a separate folder in mobile add them in this and open in pc
