How do we delete all WhatsApp messages permanently without factory reset?
I know WhatsApp/database folder which holds the chats canbe deleted. But .db.crypt files can be restored by rooting your phone.

Delete everything from cloud and phone that's the only way.
And to root your phone you probably need to unlock bootloader which will factory reset your phone.
Open WA database .crypt with text editor and delete everything inside and save it.Then delete the files. This will help you if somehow someone try to restore files.

Yes, you are right. Rooting the phone requires unlocking the bootloader.
So, if unlocking the bootloader resets the phone, then we can't restore the files right?

the only solution that i know is through rooting. if you can root your device then tell me I will provide you further guide
