Restoring Google Fit data

Question

While working on a Google fit sync up issue, somehow all my fitness data in google fit app on my device seems completely wiped out

However, i was able to export the google fit data from my google account .

Need some to restore that on to my device please 
It is a Nokia 8. Let me know if any more details is required

I think you might have forgot to provide enough Permission.

Open the Google Fit application
Go to Settings -> Connected Applications
Check whether HooFit is displayed in the list there.
If it's not visible, exit HooFit
Go to HooFit again and give the right permission when preparing the Data Source.

After that try to check
Open Phone Settings -> Account -> Google
Tap the account that you have configured on Google Fit
Look for the Google Fit / Google Fit Data option in the list
Make sure the radio button next to Google Fit data and Google Fit is in the Active position


**Note the date of the last synchronization on this line. Date must be today's date. If not, try turning off synchronization and turning it on again.**

Sorry but this is not about hoofit. Google fit data wiped out, want to restore from Google backup

You're driving wrong. Avoid the holes so the phone won't think a bump is a step.
 aside, is it because of micro-shaking of the seat while driving? Is the algorithm that sensitive now?

Try the following steps:
- open the settings on your device .
- click on Account (or Account and Backup).
- select the account Google and click on Sync.
- you will find different voice - select Google Fit.
- deactive Google fit and sync again.
- Open Google Fit and check again, scroll down. The old data will appear a little bit at time.
