Hi ive been working on a project for a while but ive never used android development before so I made it in html, css and javascript then used adobe phonegap build to convert it into an apk. however I can upload the file to google play and have even tried to use android studio but nothing seems to work. It says I need to change the API, rename a package and take it out of debugging mode and ive found tutorials to help with this but it still wont work. worst of all the files have somehow been designated read only so I can edit them. I know this might sound stupid since im very new to this but I can seem to find any solution to this can someone help me?

My advice is to create a full-new andriod app project in Android Studio at first. And then try to reuse more codes from the phonegap project.

Download size < 0.15 MB. But also accurate enough, ad-free & free.
The minimalist app available on Play Store: https://goo.gl/ws42fN

Great tip. I always do this, even with frameworks. I create a small test project, and only then add working code to the main one.
