PUBG mobile lagging

I have a Redmi Note 4 (4gb RAM) and I like to play pubg mobile. When I first installed pubg into my mobile it used to run smoothly without any glitches or lag. But the recent updates are making pubg more laggy and choppy. I don't understand the reason for this as my mobile has more than necessary hardware specification for running pubg smoothly. Can someone please tell me how to deal with this problem?

Try this:
Turn off your auto update settings in play store. Then uninstall all updates for pubg mobile!
This should make it operate like it did before!

It is because updates use memory and game becomes heavy day by day.Try using secondary memory such as sd cards , it worked for me . If that doesn't work do not let the game update without permission. Update only necessary updates.
