Don't see "internal storage" in open from menu

I'm trying to get someone to send me a document that's not audio, video, or a photo. On my phone, I can just pick "browse other docs", look on the 'open from' menu and then choose "internal storage" to go to the file I want.

On their phone, it's not giving the option to choose internal storage.
What gives??

Just tell them to send the doc.
Your phone will determine or create the file in internal storage!

You can ask them to run a stock app such as 'Files' to explore their device storage in order to select the destination file, and then share it to you.
