Paging with filter option.

Hi all, I'm a noob. I successfully implemented pagination in android by following github.com/Thumar/PagingWithRestAPI/branches . I want to know 2 things whether it's possible or not.
1. Is it possible to implement filtering and sorting (based on user selections) ??
2. Is it possible to change URL dynamically? (So I can filter in server)
