Hi all
I have a galaxy s7.
And I am being annoyed by a software update notification. I have gone into systems apps and shut off the notification for systems update!
But that notification keeps popping up on my home screen and every once in a while I will get a notification box pop up that covers the entire screen. And that box gives me 3 options
1. Install now
2. Install later
3. Schedule a time to install
Now I don't want to install it at all,
Not untill I find out more about this update!
Can anyone tell me how to shut off these notifications completely?.

I also have a s7.
And am receiving the same update.
It is for the 9.0 software (pie).
Do not allow it to install. Keep it blocked.
On 2 occasions Samsung admitted to me that this software is to advanced for our phones.
Unfortunately there is no way to block the notification. I have tried everything I can think of!
This whole thing is about Samsung releasing the s10 in February.
They want us to install this software so our phones will mess up so we will purchase thier new phone!
Sorry I don't have a solution for you, but I'm in the same boat!
We are going to have to keep tapping on Install Later to get that notification out of our face!
The only one that can stop that update is Samsung.
