Although I am aware that Lenovo owns Motorola Mobility, some sellers list Moto g6 & g6 plus as Motorola and other sellers list them as Lenovo. Is there any difference in the phones or is it just marketing preferences.?

Hi,
it's basically the confusion that Lenovo caused. They said that they don't want to use the Motorola branding anymore, only the Moto branding. But they made up their minds and went back to marketing the phones under the Motorola branding.
So they are all the same phones, the websites are simply using different names.
