I Wonder If I Can Do This

Question

Hello,
I see on YouTube where people are able to put Nougat onto their Galaxy Note 4's.

I feel stupid even asking. But, is it worth it?? Will it help the performance of the phone??

Also, as far as TWRP goes, isn't it already on my phone?? If not, is there a way to get it on my phone without rooting the phone??

I just read on the internet that the note 4 is not capable of installing the nougat (7.0) software the highest your phone can handle is the marshmallow software (6.0)
I don't know what you saw on you tube,
But I wouldn't try to install any software past the 6.0! You could turn your note 4 into a useless brick!
