Whatsapp contact disappeared Firmware update

Hello guys,

i've experienced today that, my girlfriends mobile phone had an firmware update last night and her contact info, picture and Status disappeared for me to see in my whatsapp contacts. Her name was still visible, however, is this plausible/correct or did she block me?

Well for starters, since Facebook purchased WhatsApp, WhatsApp has had one malfunction after another. That update may indeed be the problem.
On the other hand...,
Did you do anything lately to upset your girlfriend?
