Motorola Moto X — Alexa on moto x 4

I am about to buy an new Moto x 4. I am looking at the X4 on the amazon site but it has Alexa.

Does anybody know if you can eliminate the Alexa app from the phone and how to do it?

Or should I just go to Best Buy?

If Alexa is a factory installed app?
The only way I know how to uninstall it is to use a re-root app and delete it from your hard drive!
But back up your apps in a file on a different computer first!
So when you delete Alexa, if it causes problems you can go to your back up and reinstall it!
But what might be easier is to go to settings under all apps and see if you can just disable it!

It looks like ALEXA on the Motorola phone will be more trouble than I want to have.
