Messenger has all the contents of "+" sign open?

Yeah basically the title, I don't know how but the location sharing, gifs and plans have somehow been opened constantly and it's super annoying! Any help would be appreciated! I have tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling, it didn't help even when clearing the app cache.. I installed an earlier version of the app and it seems to fix it temporarily even after updating.... Until I close the chat heads and it returns again.. can anyone help me?image

You can deny those apps permission to access the messenger in settings.
Then deny the same apps permission to change the settings in your phone!
Go to settings then all apps,
Find each app there you will find the setting controlled I speak of!
