I just got the android 8.1 and now i can no longer check the notifications without eye strain and insomnia.
Blue light filter is on a Huawei Mate 10 (oreo) and a Samsung Galaxy S7 (oreo). Huawei calls it "Eye comfort" and Samsung calls it "Blue light filter", but they both operate in exactly the same way, can adjust amount of filter and set a schedule for it. I have seen the blue light filter feature as stock on Oppo and Vivo phones as well.
Blue light exposure promotes insomnia and has even been linked to blindness. Please search pubmed for peer reviewed studies on these topics instead of arguing needlessly and uneducatedly about validity of these claims.
