Hi
I have observed a continuous data upload on my Samsung (Android 6) phone while idle. When I checked the data usage, it is seen to be WhatsApp. The daily backup is scheduled only at 2am. This happens in the afternoon or just any time at all. I've observed it 5-6 times.
Closing whatsapp from task switch window doesn't help. Sometimes restarting the phone stops the upload.
Could this be a malware?
Kindly advise.
