my device was previously owned and reset when i got the phone. My lg v20 wont allow me to set up the phone with a new email address. I would greatly appreciate any advice anyone might have. Thank You

It's still locked on old account, can you take battery out? If not try opening phone and disconnect battery wires for 30 sec or more then reconnect, you could root phone but I don't think it will make any difference

the menu where you have to put in the email address and set up the phone...is where i am stuck. the phone is asking for the previous email associated with that phone . i dont have that info. what now?
