Hello,
I am new here and I don't know much about technology, so please be patient with me 😃
My question is, how do I listen to a voice clip from messenger, to my mobile phone, when it is send in an mp3 form.
It asks me to download it, but when I do, it tells me that the attached file cannot be opened.
It would be very helpful, if someone can answer me.

Do you have a stock or 3rd-party music player app installed on your phone? In general, mp3 files can be played with a common music player app.

I can download and listen to music.

Then, can you play any other mp3 files with your music player app?
If yes, those mp3 voice clips must have been corrupted for some reason.

I've used it only for listening to music...
I've downloaded once music from my email and it worked just fine...
The same mp3 file plays on my pc...

Which phone are you using?
Can you check your android version?
Is VLC player installed of your device?

I'm using a Huawei P9lite (2018)
My Android version is 7.0 and I haven't install a VLC player.
