I can put a shortcut to a text file on the desktop of my computer for fast opening - is there a way of doing the same on the S5 Neo?

At least for my mobile (Android 7.0), it's easy to create a shortcut to a file.
Open the stock file explorer app, Files,
have some text file checked,
then tap 'More' and select 'Create desktop shortcut'.
