Audio Player on WhatsApp doesn't work

Hi,
Until two days ago, I could record and listen to audio messages on WhatsApp. Now, I can't anymore. I can record it, I can receive it, but when I click on "Play", nothing happens. It is not a question of sound because the message is not read. It is like blocked. However, people who receive my messages can read them.
I desinstalled and reinstalled the app, but it is still the same. I don't understand what's wrong suddenly.

Settings - Apps - Whatsapp - Permissions,
verify that the option, Microphone, has been enabled.

Hi, sorry for the late of my reply.
No, it is not a microphone issue as I can record my voice. The recipient can hear my message. However, I checked as suggested and the microphone issue is activited. It is a player issue.

Just to say that the issue is resolved. I can't say how or why, but yesterday evening, I could listen again the vocal messages, and I didn't do anything! Weird!
