After updating to lollipop the *phone stopped*error appeared every time I recieved a call while I was using messages.
To fix go to phone settings - Call-related popups and uncheck both pop-up icons.
The problem will now be fixed.

asus zenfone max. still receiving those alert only if sending text message to non contacts.
how to fix it? much thanks

Not familiar with that phone. Also try turning off some of your message facilities. The problem seems to be in the error message code. Hopefully a code fix will arrive shortly.

I ended up re flashing My phone to get rid of this annoyance.
