Samsung Galaxy S5 Active — S5 lagging when typing , what gives?

I use nextplus for my texting app and I have never had a problem with anything until the other day and now it lags when I type in my messages. Any ideas or ways to help alleviate this issue?

I think it's your phone. There are too many things opened on it, and it will run slow.

may be you could have more apllications and that could run in background process so your RAM usage ill be increased and your phone gets stuck ....try by clearing the background running apps
