Will these gaming apps that encourage people to get out of the house be the next best thing?

Hi all,

I have a 13 year old boy who last year was obsessed with pokemon go. Our dogs were never walked so much that summer but alas, the summer faded alongside the obsession with that app. But with the reemergence of summer comes this new app, Takers where he "fights" & "defends" land in our area.

What do you's think? Will our kids leave the bedroom and start gaming outdoors?

I guess it is never safe for a 13 year old kid to go out in the vicinity and fight with people, you never know how things turn up God forbid.
I would never give in my consent for this game.
