Video plays slo motion when shared in Whatsapp

When I share a movie (made with my phone, android 6.0.1.) by Whatsapp, the movie plays in slow motion and sound and image don't play together.
In the gallery of my phone the movies play normal.
Can anyone tell me why and how I can solve this problem ? Thanks

I am having this same issue, it's very frustrating.

Sent videos seem to double in length and the video slows to half speed to fill the entire video, yet sound remains unaltered at 1x speed and stops after the original length of time. This happens when the video is played through Whatsapp and when recipients play the video.

The video is unaffected when playing through the Camera Roll.

Indeed, exactly my problem.
Btw don't know if it could be depending on our phone, but for the record, I have a Sony Xperia Z5.

Device does not matter. Its a whatsapp problem. Is anyone reading this that can fix this from the whatsapp end ???
