I have a Yahoo account. When I went to Settings>Accounts>Yahoo, I could synch the email but the synch contacts box could not be activated by tapping/pushing/holding. It just would not work.
I deleted the Yahoo account on the phone, reinstalled it, and now when I go to Settings>Accounts>Yahoo, all I see is the msg "synch is turned off"; there is no option to turn it on. I don't know where to go to turn it on.

UHHH, I have Yahoo mail on my phone. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it. No luck.

If you can extract yahoo contacts to computer, you can use a Samsung mobile manager tool. It can helps you import yahoo contacts from computer to Samsung Galaxy S5. Good luck!
