I suggest you try Android Data Rescuer to do,maybe which can help you found out lost data from android phone ,because it have already help me recover lost android text ,by scanning the phone device,

What If I want to display only the post 1 data into the recycleview ? Firebase seem to not read a single data in the database. I want to be able to read a single post 1.

Before you lost data , if you data was store in SD card , you can use third-party tools to scan SD card , There is a lot of opportunity to restore the lost data . if not , you can change to scan the Memory ,
