My experiences with the SONY customer service for XPERIA Smartphones.
A world company no longer needs to be respectful the end customer respectful and accommodating against endusers.
It's sad how Sony tries at the expense of private customers, to shirk warranty. I have just 10 months ago bought in Switzerland XPERIA Z5 for CHF 798.80
I was very pleased with the phone. After an Android software update, it remained
dark and settled not turn on. Battery was charged, there was no mechanical damage and also the hardware worked up to the update.
It's ridiculous what the "engineers" let out :
- mechanically defective
- complete electronics defective
- defective battery
Now Sony asks Euro 332,54 for repair.
The pinnacle of audacity is the fact that Sony warranty denied by referring to an unauthorized power supply. The European Court has all manufacturers of smartphones prompted to compatibility between the power supplies. Even Sony has agreed to do so. Now Sony can not therefore refuse warranty service yet.
