Samsung Galaxy S5 Active — Download stupidly slow

Something else is that can take me ten or 15 minutes to update an app in playstore and as for downloading an app up to an hour before now and if I uninstall an app phone shuts down and freezes and when it's back on few apps have vanished but return after a while.
I love my s5 but struggling.Have cleaned cache and moved apps to sd card my sim is old now could this be the problem? Thanks guys x

Many possible reasons. Can be your network is slow, someone hugging your wifi or your phone has far too many apps, more than the phone could handle.
