Whatsapp - wrong last seen time

Hello I have a question - I received message from one of my contacts today at 10.44 am but as last seen time I see yesterday 6.55 pm. Looks like all of my other contacts works well. What is the reason?

Hi Karo, welcome to AndroidPIT! :)

Well thats kind of hard to tell. Have you tried restarting the app? Like really close it and open it up again, not just going back to the homescreen. To do so you can either open the recents menu and close Whatsapp or open the settings, Apps and look for Whatsapp and hit "Force close".

It could also be a problem on the other phone, your friends phone though.

I have faced this issue sometimes, but after restarting the devices problem solved.

Hi bro I have two different whatsapp account, in my single WhatsApp it's shows a different last seen on a persons whatsapp which is almost 1 week ago, but when I check from my other whatsapp number it's shows current time saying last seen 5 Min ago or an hour ago

Try to kill app on background and restarts both phone as well as WhatsApp then problem will be solved.
