Samsung Galaxy S5 Active — Calendar won't be quiet

After Marshmallow update, my calendar will verbally speak any appointment/reminders I have entered into it. Muting the media volume and the system volume does not stop the phone from reading my reminders out loud. If the phone volume and notification volume are muted then the calendar is quiet. Anyone know how to silence the calendar without muting the entire phone?

Hello Lisha,

the phone should have somewhere a "driving mode" or "car mode".

Try to turn this off.

It should be somewhere under Accessibility.
