hoping for some help here on this please. after the more recent install of 6.0.1 I am unable to transfer files from my nexus 7 2013 tablet. previously, all I had to do was use the usb cable into the laptop. but now, the nexus does not show up in the list of devices on the laptop---
in the past, all of the folders and files were visible to transfer. now, there is no nexus 7 showing up in the windows explorer.
can anyone please help? thank you very much.
also------can anyone please help me with direct contact info for the google nexus tablet? I never had to contact them before. thank you.

Try this:
- Connect phone to laptop via USB cable
- Look at the notifications on the phone (you will see "USB for charging")
- Tap on that "USB for charging" notification
- You will see (1) Charging only (2) Transfer Files (3) Transfer Photo, etc
- Tap on (2) Transfer files
- You can transfer your files now :)

Look at the second post. See who the author is at the top of the second post. I was the one who wrote that solution for you. That person, sanjai appreciated my solution, he thanked me and his name is displayed next to the Thanks button. And you mistook him for the author because his name is next to the Thanks button. That is why I replied I wrote a possible solution for you and you thanked someone else. :'(

time to grow up.

You are unappreciative! :P

Think about it, people like Vladimir and Sanjai are much more appreciative :D

Ps. Don't worry about it
