Notifyer Unread Count

I followed instructions on several forums, including someone from this one.
I installed "Notifyer Unread Count" on my Huawei Y530, but when I tried to choose widgets from the list for which to apply the counter, the list was empty.
I already have the icons for the apps that I use on the home screen. Do I need to delete them and start again?

Also, I read somewhere that I needed Nova Launcher installed for this notifyer to work, is that the case?

If its G- Play store app that needs a another app to be installed ( ie; emoji plug ins,etc. . then yes . you'll Need Nova installed.

I found the program just online, but yes, I believe I downloaded it through G-Play, but it didn't say that it needed anything else installed.

I followed instructions and then when I went to choose the widgets the list was empty, and I wasn't sure why it was.

I will install Nova and see if it works.
