Michigander Geek

Hi everyone. I just joined after reading an AP article of tips and tricks for my S3. I've seen AP around a lot in my Googling so I thought it was about time I became a part of the community. I'm not as big a geek as my niece, although she does tell me I'm her 'ubergeek uncle'. I remember the first time I got a cell phone (after being a steadfast landline user for years) - it was a clamshell Motorola model on the Sprint network. We've come a long ways since then, haven't we?

I've been with Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile and now I'm with Boost. Had a few nice smartphones so far (Droid Turbo, Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note 5). The Galaxy Note 5 was an awesome phone, but unfortunately it had a few issues (as well as the carrier) so I had to return to Boost. Got the S3 again. For some reason I keep coming back to Boost and the S3, lol. Must be a sign.

Anyway, nice to be here and I hope I can get some great advice, tips and help (as well as contribute, if I can).
