After a year my Galaxy S5 started to has problems in charging and battery life. Upon reaching 99% my phone stopped charging. If I unplug the USB cable and plug it back in, the charging rate returned to 100%. It seems to happen randomly.
My first step was to do a hard reset, but the problem persisted. I researched in various forums and could not find out a way to fix it. Then I decided to try out for a new battery so I bought a 4300mah replacement battery from MPJ to see if it was battery problem. After about two weeks the problem had not happened again. I really want it to stay that way……
