google play not update on device when multiple apk is submited

The problem I am facing now. Firstly I have published a single apk on google play. I download it from my mobile samsung galaxy S5.

After that I published with updated multiple apk by varying the android api level. Now I my device not updated the application.

Is there any bindings by the google play that firstly single apk cannot be updated by multiple apk ??

As far as the play store concern i did not see anything like that. May be you can check on your play store account whether the apk is updated or not. (Play-store will show you the updates. )normally it takes time to update.

i am assuming that only vary with api version not with the package name. (As once you uploaded the apk it is mandatory that updated apk should have that same package name else play store will treat it as new application.)

I published with updated multiple apk by varying the android api level, Not with different package name. It's also updated on the google play. But it's not automatically updated in my device
