The charge on my devices don't last as long

I just moved and I have noticed that on both my samsing galaxy 3mini and my Kindle fire don't hold a charge as long. I'm charging my Kindle at least once a day when at my old apartment it could go probably 4 days with out a charge. With my galaxy the charge is lasting maybe 4 hours or less when it use to only have to be charged once a day. I feel like it had something to do with the outlets. I haven't done anything different with my devices and I moved in less than a week ago and they were both functioning fine then.

keeping the charge in the 40 to 80 percent range is generally helpful.
Don't leave it plugged in all the time
Avoid using ultra-fast chargers
use original chargers
don't use more than one apps at a time
