I would like to know the difference between rooting and replacing the Sim card. I went with Consumer Çellular and they offer only up to 4G's of data (you can have more but a little pricey at and they slow it down) so I was thinking of switching to StraightTalk or something better. I did call and they gave me an unlock code along with 2 PUK codes. Then the girl told me all I really needed to do was switch out the Sim cards and I wouldn't need the codes. I am so confused. I am fairly new at the smartphone market and would appreciate all the help I can get. I want to learn alll I can! Thanks Tami
