A beginner into software industry!

I am sophomore and I want to get into the software industry. I have been developing small programs and wanted to know the industry in depth.What would be my typical day at office? I have doing web designing and selling it online. I have planned to take up a mobile application development course from Cestar college, Toronto. What homework do I need to do before moving on to app development. Which is the best language to begin with?

for that you can start with core java. That will help you in android development
