Hi all brand new here,so be gentle,i had a Samsung Galaxy Ace,with Whatsapp
loaded,it run perfectly well,now my daughter has given me a Iphone,but the problem is,
i've put the new Whatsapp App on the Iphone sorted my contacts,but all my pics and
conversations have disappeared,is there anyway i can get them back,,,,

As long as you have not factory reset the galaxy phone the media and conversations will be there.....usually when coming from an android phone to another android the process is simple just by copying out the database file and I suppose all the folders to the new device, when WhatsApp is installed on the new device the old back up file is detected and restored.
Going to an iPhone (why?....
) though means that as far as I know you can't get any files on to the device apart from the ones iTunes permits, unless you jailbreak, so I don't think its possible to restore your conversations but you can definitely get your pictures, videos and audio files from the old galaxy and back them up on to a PC/cloud......
