Samsung Galaxy S4 Active — Is Android 5.1 Lollipop is reliable ?

I have Samsung Galaxy S4 GT- I9500 and Recently I have updated with Android 5.1 Lollipop. After installing update , My phone gets hang frequently and some time restart automatically . Most of the apps take 5-10 second for open and consumption of battery is also increase A common message , I always get whenever I try to open Contact "Unfortunately, Contacts has stopped" . It' s worst experience with new 5.1 . My question is to Google OS developer , Have you tested it before released or Released in under pressure ?

honestly, most of android user facing issue after upgrade to lollipop OS.

Are you sure you don't have 5.0.1? There is no 5.1 for S4 as far as I know. I have 5.0.1 and it's working fine. I did hear about this issue though, and advice I heard was to do a factory reset and also choose delete cache partition , it's also on the list on the factory reset screen.

I meant to say also that my battery life improved about 20%. I updated myself through the Sammobile site and there is definitely no 5.1 released for S4.

Yesterday i update my s4 to 5.1 . And i dont have any problems with my phone. Only use of processor its litle biggest (6-7%)
