Try these apps for gaming: clash of clash of clans, asphalt 8
for news : feedly
recording call : total recall call recorder.

the apps should work on all android phones (assuming they meet the hardware and software requirements. ex: flashlights won't work on phones without lights.) however, the galaxy app store does have apps specific to samsung devices.

I would prefer to use the "Featured Apps". Just browse them and most of the times, all of the apps in the featured apps on google playstore are nice.
