Apps, apps, apps. We love 'em. You love 'em. Some are good, some are bad, and some are absolutely essential. Like, cannot-live-without-them essential.

So we want to ask you: which app can you simply not do without?

Facebook? Gmail? Instagram? Twitter? YouTube? What is the absolute must-have for your app drawer?

Well I don't want to say something that I can use just the same on my PC, like Skype or email, because I don't necessarily NEED the app on my phone if I have it elsewhere.

So I'm going to say Taptu. It's a nice little RSS reader, I read news through it all the time and I've never had any problems with it. :D

I guess I should contribute first. The one app, surprisingly, that I use more than any other and honestly don't think I could live without is:

Bacon Reader for Reddit (seriously)

Well, @Kris you seemed to ask a very tough question, sounds somewhat similar ;) anyway I can't live without the Skype application - Skype is very helpful in taking my office environment over my home, I needed to remain online over the Skype 24*7 and having an Skype application help me in getting most out of it. I can respond to the queries and pings received by my clients I can jump over my bed and sleep with Skype application switched on as I can't seem to do the same with a PC or Laptop. :D So, for me Skype is life :P

It's tiny, it's really simple but I'd hate to be without it: Auto-Rotate Status Bar Switch.

Hi Patrick, you are posting your question in the wrong thread. Please ask in the Galaxy Note 2 thread. Thanks :)

There are 2 apps that are mandatory for me. One of them is Slack which I use for team communications 24/7 (slack.com).

Another one is Swipe, it's still in beta, but I got addicted to it. Let's your read your RSS subscriptions right on the lock screen (getswipe.co).

Due to some problems I had with my previous phone, I was forced to go without a smart phone for almost six months. In that time, I learned that I can live without any apps and there is no single app that effects my life enough that I would be lost without it. There is however one app I find myself opening almost every hour of the day and that would be AndroidPIT.

Hmm not sure if there's any apps I can't live without..probably Whatsapp, because it's the first place I message from/receive messages, plus I have like ten group chats, so it's really easy to get in contact with certain people at once :)

Pocket - This app allows me to save articles and links from various sites and across different platforms. If I don't have time to read the article at the present I can come back to the article later by just clicking on the link saved to my pocket queue. I use this app at least 20 times a day, probably more. Closely following Pocket is Evernote.

Shareables is pretty great. Shows you which apps are trending among your Facebook friends, but only apps that you don't have yet. Kinda automates word of mouth app discovery.

I'm almost ashamed to admit that Twitter has become my "Lifeline" app...
I started using it for Schnitz-n-Gigglz and now am truly lost without it...
specially here in RSA for traffic updates and police tracking...
